About me: I am an emeritus professor at the UCSD School of Medicine and an experienced researcher in cardiovascular physiology and pharmacology (cyclic nucleotide metabolism, subcellular compartmentation of signaling) and an experienced reviewer of research and training grants in the US and Mexico. I have served as an advisor to the CA Air Resources Board, as chair of the Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. Program, and as mentor for the Industry-UC Research Partnership Fellowship.
